Honestly I thought our run game looked different when we were under center. The o line got off the ball and could just run block and got some push. I would like to see more of that in the weeks ahead and try time play action. I know we are not going to change the whole system now with this line it could help us.

Agreed, I don't know why we went away from it. The announcers even talked about how it would open up the passing game and set up some play action later in the game, which we never took advantage of--maybe after we self scout our film from the game we will see it could be a great wrinkle in our offense to use more frequently.

can't recall off top of my head if we had a run go under 5 yards in the formation. Like you said, wish we would've gotten some play action out of it. & maybe that was an aspect they didn't want to put out there for the next team to film. But guess we'll see how it looks next week @ Pitt now that its out there for everyone else to see & plan for.
