yea, not sure how big location is to him though, but would be close to home! I think the other recruits probably had a good impact on him also

He is going to be a Dawg.
Hate to say it,but he grew up a UGA fan and UGA has played well enough this year to keep Richt around.
Clemson will make him think but in the end he'll play in Athens.
Hope I'm wrong.

Not at all. Not even close!!! Bellamy has yet shown he can hold onto the FB, and it should look to a great recruit that there is a good chance to be the guy. Of course he has to prove he is better, but this type guy thinks he will be the guy. I think we have a great chance, but time will tell. If I were him, I's choose the Tigers over ugay in a heartbeat.

Crowell has had his share of fumbles this year. don't hang it all on Bellamy.

Bellamy's fumbles have pretty much been his, but I think he is a very talented and gifted athlete. I'm not sure he couldn't be used another way that would feature his speed and other attributes, but I think he can be a great asset. He already has been a contributor.

He's already said he wants to play with another elite back. He's not an every down type of guy anyway

to both see the field at Clemson given our style of offense than they would at Georgia backing up Crowell. Doesn't that make sense?

not to mention
Nov 16, 2011, 5:12 AM
|
|
next year UGA will have 2 RBs (assuming one of them doesn't leave or graduate) that were originally listed on the depth chart ahead of Crowell but went down in camp due to injury. So, Crowell may be "the guy" next year but he will have others there already to split time with.

We were able to turn Dwayne Allen at the last minute when everyone thought he was UGA bound. Hopefully we ###### this away from Georgia as well.

His Twitter

check out all he's doing is praising Clemson, you'll even see on there where he thinks he'll lose most of his followers after he commits. Hmmm up till now all his followers have been Georgia fans.
Just a couple
"ol sammy was too real.. "
"Still thinking about how live Clemson was !!!"

I'm starting to get a good feeling about this kid

He definitely has his head screwed on right. 4+ GPA and met with Barker during his visit. Clemson has a commitment of education for the athletes. He can see immediate playing time, and we are in the top 10 in the BCS.
The momentum has swung in Clemson's favor. Still a log way to go, but I'd never bet against Dabo and staff in recruiting a guy they want.

Only thing that worries me if we got marshall..

Is Bellamy.. He hasn't shown the maturity quite yet to sharing the limelight in the backfield.. Buildwise and talent wise Marshall and Bellamy seem two in the same.. Would be quite a interesting dynamic

He needs to show the ability and maturity to be on the field first. If not, find somewhere else. Move on the next guy. Looks like they're lining up...

Didn't say names, obviously. Hoping Bellamy isn't one. Pretty nasty backfield having Marshall and Bellamy.

TCI has also stated previously that Bellamy was going no where. Let's hope they're right. What gets interesting is with AE telling Marshall(and Bullard) that Clemson was the place to come if they wanted to be Champions sort of gives the hint that AE is going no where and the back field will be crowded next year. If I had to guess who else would be leaving, I'd guess, and it's only a guess , it'd be Hot Rod and Joe Craig.

Stranger things have happened in recruiting. Regardless of whether we get Marshall or not our recruiting class is among the best. Of course we don't know what they will actually do on the field but time will tell.

With Andre back next yr and with Bellamy and DJ and Brooks coming in there is no need to fret losing a prize recruit , that in my mind was never that close to leaning away from Jawja anyway .
