What am I missing? A private contractor was hired by the Roxx but still answers to the Roxx management. He is basically a Temp-employee.
So I say "NAY" on your request to hide behind the contractor camoflauge. If the charge is bogus, or friviolous, I still hold the Roxx accountable.

Wow! I worked the front doors of several clubs/bars in Clemson many years ago. I got in quite a few shoving matches with patrons. I never pressed charges against any of them because it just came with the job. I guess times have changed.

I've done the same in my younger years when bars were where you went to let off steam that had built up during the week. That guy pressing charges is what we called back then was pure ######. He will quickly step to far out there, and call the cops after he has been challenged!!!

I don't understand how it all works, but I don't see this going anywhere for the accuser. I'm not saying one shouldn't keep his hands to himself, but what's the judge supposed to do? Give Boyd a demerit slip? Take away his hall pass? Would a teacher even do that two months after a minor incident?

this is a shakedown. Tahj probably shouldn't have pushed him but isn't it the job of the the door guy to handle being pushed? I think the owner should sue the bouncer for falsely representing that he could handle the door job.

Roxx is a rather upscale "bar" in downtown Greenville not a roadside dive. A place where the yuppies hang.
I'm surprised to not see anyone harassing the poor "victim" on his Facebook page. And that's probably best that it stays that way.

This is a pretty obvious ploy in preparation for a lawsuit against Taj. The charges won't stick. And a civil suit won't do much if it goes to trial. People, and therefore juries, hate bouncers.
