To be fair , both political parties are a thin shell of their founding principles . This mess we find ourselves in will take decades to pull out of .

On point, per usual Dug. It's just maddening to me that with the progression of time how the mentality has regressed. Look at the republican candidates spanning from, let's say, 1860 to the mid- 1900s... Compare those to where we are today and the only words I can find to define it are shameful and embarassing. The candidates are posers for broken parties, the attendees at these rallies are the worst of the worst & the vote is rarely representative of the whole. You're right... It's going to take many years to right these wrongs, if ever.
