at Duke, for working his 500th consecutive game! (He worked his 502nd game at Death Valley just 16 days prior to his passing!

One of the many stories I remember him telling was the time he and Coach Howard were at a function. He was sitting by Coach howard and accidently picked up coach Howard's tobacco juice cup and took a swig out of it.

That may not be the correct name for it, but the booklet giving the player bios, records against the opponents and school records.

My father was the sports writer for the Anderson Independent in the late 50's. And as he got out of that business not long after that he was a loyal and devoted Clemson fan and IPTAY donor until his passing. There were two reasons for that, Coach Howard and Mr. Bradley.
