You use your QB to the best of his abilities. It was a freak accident.

ya but if someone is coming off an injury not playing in a

game setting for 3 weeks is putting him out there like that a good idea? A few designed runs is fine but at some point you gotta think about this kids durability. It's much easier to get an injury when your body hasn't been through that rigor in nearly a months time.

His finger was what was injured. His finger is fine. It was

his knee today. Nowhere near his finger. He hurt it running. It was a non-contact injury. A QB should be able to run.

I think you missed the point of what I said. It's much

easier to pick up an injury when your body hasn't been through the tests of a game environment. Look at DRose for example he keeps injuring other parts of his body besides his knee, (hamstring, ankles) because he's missed time off the court and his body isn't fit for stress of a game.

So then you think we should have played DW in a way

Nov 16, 2014, 2:27 AM

that isn't truly suited to the best of his abilities because he injured his finger and therefore his knee might be weaker because he runs differently in practice than he does in games?

I'm saying we don't need to continuously

run him between the tackles. A few designed runs is fine but for the few minutes he played in the 4th quarter he ran the ball 7 times to put that in perspective Gallman ran the ball 14 times the entire game. I agree we're best when he can use his feet but 7 times in 1st quarter off an injury is a little risky. Like I said it doesn't matter if he hurt his finger or his #### eyeball he hasn't played in 3/4 weeks and practice is not a rigorous a game.

I might agree if it was a contact injury, or happened late

in the game. But i'll bet he runs in practice the same way he does in games. He makes the same cuts. He was recruited as a dual threat QB and we needed him to run the ball, so we did.

I dont know what happend to the offense from the beginning of the season

I feel like they lost confidence as soon as Watson got hurt.

It's like they knew Stoudt couldn't get it done.

Stoudt is not even a manageable QB anymore at the beginning of the season he could at least pick up a few 1st downs and sustain a few drives now he just looks like he has never played before! Not only did he throw 3 picks but he missed a wide open TD to Hump in the end zone!
