Did anyone else see the Chubb injury?

The original shot I mean, from the near sideline. Its like they wont show it no. I thought it was almost Joe Theisman bad. Poor kid. I don't care about Gawga losing, but darn, no one deserves that. Kid was having a monster year and was a lock for All SEC, maybe ALL American with Fournette.

Yep, it was pretty bad. His leg bent sideways. It looked Lattimore-Esque to me...

At least 2 of the 4 main ligaments looked like they were torn. Maybe 3. His future will depend on how much damage was done to other structures in the knee. Lattimore's was probably the worst ever filmed and included complete dislocation of the knee (he was fortunate to keep his leg). Chubb's looked less severe as the leg appeared normally oriented after he was on the ground, but still very bad. I wish him a successful recovery.

Yeah, I didn't see the Lattamore injury as I was deployed at the time. And the earlier poster is correct, it wasn't Theisman bad, but I admit I cringed into a ball when I saw that. Having had 15 knee procedures over the years, anything like that hurts me to see.

seen bad injuries like that plenty of times. It wasn't a broken bone hanging out of the leg sort of thing.

I said HOLY #### THEY NEED TO WARN PEOPLE BEFORE THAT SHOW THAT ON TV.
I was not expecting to see that, it was GROSS!!! Less like a raid doll leg and more a rubber leg with no bone bowed sideways.

Per his mom - it sounds like 3 ligaments. Probably PCL, LCL, and MCL. The first 2 for sure. He will be back. Maybe in time for 2016, maybe not. Mark Richt sports injury assesment < Holiday Inn Express + WebMD.

What is it with people freaking out when seeing something

like that. Sure, it makes me wince and feel for the kid, but almost puking? I wasn't like there was blood and guts, or a bone popping through the skin.

Definitely one my wife threw a pillow in front of her face for when they showed it. Armchair doctor here but with the way his leg bent I find it hard to believe he did not do serious damage that will require surgery. Has Georgia given an official diagnosis? Sorry if I already missed that.
