Bowl Game Ticket Assignment - Better Method
Dec 5, 2017, 12:50 PM
|

I think the process for ticket allotment should limit the requestor to the number of season tickets you already have.
Many families have had 3+ tickets for years. It seems a lot more fair and appropriate to limit the allotment to the number of season tickets you have. Also, shouldn't the same fans who attended the season have the opportunity, if possible, to attend the bowl?
And yes, I am impacted. I've been a member of IPTAY for 30 years and had 4 season tickets for most of that time. Tough deciding which 2 in a family of 4 get to go - or purchasing seats from resellers for over $300 each and still not getting to sit together. Clemson is all about Family but the current method is unfair to many families.

They should get 2. I didn't know the purpose of bowl game tickets was to allow IPTAY members to offset the cost of their donation. If that is the case I wonder how the IRS would look at it.

So your idea is somewhat skewed. AND, I only got TWO ACCCG tickets.

I think there might be a slight flaw in your methodology.

Agree that many people will get left out - including most likely me. I just think it's weird that some IPTAY members can purchase more bowl tickets than they have season tickets. I'm not sure how much this impacts the final allotment but it is possible that their would be slightly more to go around if bowl tickets were limited to the # of season tickets you already have.

Has such low priority points.
I have a family of 5. Real easy to decide Which 2 go.

Post season ticket allotment is being utilized as an inducement to raise ones IPTAY donation amount/level. If you desire more post season tickets, increase the amount donated to IPTAY.

Correct?

Why should a guy that only buys 2 season tix get to buy 10 bowl tix? If he has that priority, what doesn't he buy 10 season tix?
