Just to be clear, I am saying Bama fans would be angry purely based on how dumb it would be to hire a 2nd year D1 coach that finished 4-8 and last in the conference his first season...it had nothing to do with race or "bull Connor" type riots

That would be the absolute best option for both parties

In fact. I strongly believe that a Deion Alabama would become a bigger dynasty than Saban Alabama

I think it would be a monumental failure based on the fact he was 4-8 last season, finished last in a week conference and clearly made terrible in game adjustments

What facts do you have to support your theory he would be a good hire?

It would be a dumpster fire of epic proportions. I like Deion, but he still has much to prove at Colorado to believe he belongs at this level. Jackson State was impressive, but it was more a case of a big fish in a small pond.

ESPN stated today that it is all about race. Look at the "Undisputed" segment. Said a southern school would never hire a black head coach. Two of the three talking were blacks and ex-players.

Lol. I think calling black people “blacks” isn’t acceptable anymore. Maybe I’m wrong.

That’s not true. In fact it’s been encouraged to capitalize it - Blacks.

I don’t get offended when someone calls me white. It’s a description, not a stereotype.

Well, it is their “undisputed” segment. The segment of ESPN that writes or talks under the “undisputed” banner is all about racial grievance. Deion won’t be hired because he’s not the best available, and it has nothing to do with his skin tone.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's more a case of...

furthering an agenda and playing the race card. Whoever Bama hires will have absolutely nothing to do wit race.

The reality is, very few black coaches have succeeded as head coaches at the collegiate level, particularly at Power 5 programs.

Name one black coach truly worthy of replacing Saban. And don’t tell me it’s the Notre Dame coach.

I won't even get into the certitude that interviewing or hiring practices based solely on the color of someone's skin color is blatant and systemic racism.

I asked the AFLAC duck if Sanders was going to ALA since he is friends with both Saban and Deion. He said I was a quack to think that...
