If you had your choice, would you rather Clemson win

in a complete blowout, like 57-0 or 52-10? Or have Clemson win in the last few seconds?
Me? (if my heart can take it) I would love to see a game where Carolina dominates the whole game but the score is kept close, and at the end Tajh makes a drive like he did vs LSU and have Cat man kick a 50 yard FG for the win. It would completly stun the chicken crowd.

Forget the drama. For once, I want a game I can sit and enjoy and not be sick from worry the whole time. Tired of being tired after a Clemson game.

I would love nothing more than seeing the garnet pile out of Willy-B in the 3rd quarter. However, there would be something satisfying of seeing how sick the coots are as we win it in the last second

Also I don't want the gamecocks to have a "We were the better team" exscuse.

IRONCAT68, I have to confess: not once over the past

50 years, since my freshman days, have I wished for a close game...against anybody!
Not wanting to seem too greedy, but I have always been perfectly comfortable with the pre-game thoughts of a score of Clemson 100 - Opponent 0...with about, say, 80 or so of those scored in the first half.
That way I don't have to worry about last-second finishes...and can spend the second half chatting with other Clemson fans about...the weather, upcoming holidays or even whether or not our HC should be wearing sweatshirts, tee shirts or suits!
See how easy that is....lol

Complete blowout, and here's why
Nov 27, 2013, 6:24 AM

Remember the Georgia game? Every coot I have run into talks about how we were just "lucky" to have beaten Georgia since the final score was so close... despite the fact that FIVE of their games this season have been decided by 7 points or less.
They will be the same way if this is a close game and we win... they will say we were just "lucky".
There will be no such talk if we blow them out.

Even in a blow out,the coots should score at least one td (after all they are playing at home) so I would like to see a score like 46-7 with Tajh throwing 4 td's running for one and the "Cat-Man" getting three field goals. Oh,and we get a safety for good measure. Unfortunately, this is going to be a close ball game. The coots are going to defend their house with every weapon they can muster. I have Clemson 31-the coots 28!

To #### with close games
Nov 27, 2013, 9:01 AM
|
|
I don't want any SCar fan, player, or coach to be able to spout some bullcrap like "we were only one play away" or "the refs screwed us" or "if it weren't for that one fumble...". No, I want them to have no excuses, nothing to say, nothing to offer up except "we got our a$$es handed to us from the first snap". I want to win that game by 70 points. Screw a close game. My hope is that by the middle of the 3rd quarter the game is safely in our back pocket and I can relax and enjoy the rest of the slaughter.

To be a complete blowout. I also want to run some kind of reverse play where tajh has block and completely blind sides the clown on his a$$ for all the $hit he's been talking.

Woodshed game

Don't want them to have the opportunity to blame the outcome on a blown call or lucky play. They are long overdue for a big dose of humility 45-0 or 63-17 style. Time for the earth's axis to be righted.

Looks like Blowout wins!
Nov 27, 2013, 10:34 AM

And I can understand why. The game would certainly be easier to watch. But I still like the idea of them having the game in hand then snatching it away from them. That stunned look would be priceless. But my heart would be safer with the blowout. Also, the excusses? If we win by 1 or 30, they will have excusses either way. "we were so beat up by playing an SEC schedule, that we had nothing left when we played Clemson" -I heard this one for many years.
