Only pitched 1/3 innings over three appearances against the SEC. Gave up 2 runs which gives him a 54.54 ERA, although I wouldn’t put too much weight into that. Otherwise had a very good season, clearly Tennessee saw something, just never seemed to crack the regular rotation of pitchers.

Well, color me negative Nancy but I'll wait and see. I wouldn't call this a Major pitching transfer. Just because he was on a "Tennessee " team... ?
If you had told me he was Tennessee's Friday or Saturday starter, then I'd consider that a major transfer. If he'd been lsu starter in the cws, then I'm impressed. This seems more like the same ole same old.

Reminds me of Lee from wake. I remember being excited because that was supposed to be a huge pick-up. Total bust as was gillen... who used us to just rehab at the best facility .
And you know I TU all of yalls posts. I'm just not impressed.

Heat is great. If he has that aaaand control, then let’s go.
But still, a good stat line is a good stat line, regardless of how you achieve it. Guys likm Glavine and Greg Maddox come to mind. Didn’t overwhelm people, but could hit their spots and keep batters off balance.
But yeah, looks like the dude has a strong arm, so it’s all moot.

He throws high 80s to low 90s . That is not a strong arm dude . Only pitched mid week for Tennessee . This is not the type pitcher it is going to take to help us get out of a regional or make Omaha .
