Is the Clemson defense better this year than it was last year? I would love to hear Clemson fan's opinions on the matter. Great bunch of folks on this board. I get ragged so hard for communicating with everyone here, but to be honest... It is football season and we are all itching for some action to begin!

should be better but we haven't played a game

returning most of front seven...depth is excellent

secondary struggled last year at times

...we hope that unit will improve in 2014

It should be. We didn't really have a face to our defense going into last year. A lot of guys had to fit into their roles. Now we have those strong established leaders and the young guys around them are really talented. You know what you have in Beasley, Jarret and Anthony now. Then you add Steward, Alexander and Kearse to that. Could be very special.
