Deep trouble if the D plays like it has thus far

Sep 20, 2022, 8:02 AM

That is all I’m going to say. I never would have thought my concerns would be on our D. ?‍♂️?‍♂️

I don't think that "slow mesh" offense fools the Clemson D.

Slow mesh is a poor man’s option game. Very gimmicky .

Defense will be fine. We were banged up last week and got gashed on a few big plays. I am not worried about a team that almost lost to Liberty.

I mean….Vandy put up 25 pts on Wake, so I’d hope Clemson can put up more!

Hold WF under 400 yards and we will be alright.

Wake will not score 30 points.

A fully staffed D-line will maul the QB. Maybe we'll even see if Goodwin knows how to call a blitz!

I don't see Wake scoring more than 30 points on us.

Sep 20, 2022, 12:25 PM

And I won't be surprised if we hold them under 20.

It will be up to our offense to move the ball and score enough points.

I feel like we match up well with Wake. We sure did last year.

I do not care for Nooner games, I do not like Night games ..

Sep 20, 2022, 1:32 PM

3:30 is the perfect time ... for tailgaters ... its plenty of time to get intoxicated and for us who rather do beer drink'in AFTER the game ... its like also perfect ... Nooner's encourage morning drinking, which is bad for the health ... night games are too late and after the game, dining choices are Waffle House or maybe Applebee's.

This game is big, why Noon ?
