Do we think that Eason will take over the entire defensive line or that Dabo will go out and hire a new DE Coach? Eason is a great recruiter and I think he can pull any defensive linemen in and train them up to be stars. What are y’all’s thoughts?

I personally believe that happens and Scott returns as an offensive assistant to work with Riley. We had 10 coaches which is the limit. Eason will do very well coaching the entire D-line.

I agree! I think we should let Wes focus solely on being DC and Nick coach the DL. Then go get a linebackers coach that has done it at a high level.

From the outside looking in it makes sense, but as I stated in another post, not being in the profession there may indeed be a need for a separate coach.

When I found out Hall would not return next season, I was surprised. Curious as to why they both decided to part ways but I do feel like Eason may very well take over as the DL coach IMHO.

Eason needs to be over the whole defensive line. That guy has great intensity about him.

YES, I do (Nick=DL). The NCAA max #Coaches is 10.

So if Nick Eason (The Man!) takes over @DL (DT+DE, like BAMA+UGA do), that frees up one slot for a different dedicated coach, for example a SPECIAL TEAMS coach, rather than double-duty by DB coach Mike Reid.

I would rather see it used on Scott as offensive coach & perhaps recruiting coordinator. However, I think recruiting coordinator is typically given to a newbie.

They coach returns and coverage. And decide who should be on each unit. Please explain how those need improvement.

I think that would be a sound move, but I am not the one making it. I AM sure

that Dabo pays enough attention to know if Coach Eason is capable of the whole thing. He is ALREADY being very highly compensated, should be willing to take on more.

I think we can all agree that our D-line has been our brightest light. I am hesitant to take that for granted and change our formula. We should be able to attract another excellent DE coach - and continue our great tradition there.
