Dabo, the next JoPa

Nov 2, 2015, 10:52 AM

Dabo will go down as the greatest coach in Clemson history because he is the right guy for the job. I myself have been criticizing Dabo since he was interim coach, and I'm apologizing to him today. Dabo is the perfect Clemson ambassador, he is the definition of Clemson and for years to come will be the figure head of this program. I myself don't see a time where we force Dabo out and don't see Dabo going anywhere for a really long time, I think he will bring us multiple championships because of the type of person he is, he's a winner. I see him bringing in the guys he wants to bring in because they fit Clemson, not only in play style but the way these men act, we are looking at history in the making and I hope to take my Grand children to the Dabo Swinney Statue right outside of the east end zone, because one day he will be the greatest Clemson coach ever.

But who is the next Sandusky...? No, I don't want to know.***

Based on your rating I will assume you are a coot...Dabo stays in our good graces as long as he is willing. Unlike coot u, we will not accept losing as it is not in our DNA

Nice post, but Dabo will surpass JoPa. IMO

Go Tigers, make JoPa look like a runner-up.

"JoPa" was a POS that allowed a predator to continue to have a job and allowed him the opportunity to continue doing the sick sh!t that he was doing.

IDC that he did what he was "supposed" to do so spare me that argument. Any decent individual would've gone further especially after seeing that school leadership wasn't going to do anything.

Let's not go overboard. Living in PA all my life and having to endure the mystique of the man whom many thought walked on water, he became an unbearable old man who ruled many at PSU. Let's not wish that on Dabo. Longevity and success are great, but not invincibility.

I agree with you. Besides, I see Dabo being the type who wants to be able to one day turn the program over to some capable successor in order that the progress not die when he does. He will likely hang around to be an ambassador and he will exercise significant influence, but I dont really see him as the type to allow the program to be so defined by him that it cannot survive his departure.

is some critical situations.

it would be best to simply put the whole Penn State program in a hole and move on.
