Dabo needs to be asked about dumb goaline I-formation run

Another obvious example of Dabo intervening in the play calling...
Stupid play call almost cost us the game.

Now we go under center and it didn’t work and now asking why under center.
I think a healthy Shipley finds a way across the goal line there. I don’t have a problem with the I-formation, just the execution.
In hindsight we can all say they should’ve taken the points of a field goal there.

Hopefully next year that is a TD every time! Our Oline needs to experience some this to make the strides in the off-season to become a strength of the team next year(which I do think is a possibility due to the very young talent in the Oline) Definitely the right call imo!

Why was it stupid? We have ran plenty of iformation on 4th and 1 in the pass. We use to hand the ball to Christian Wilkins on 4th and 1. I guess it’s only stupid if it doesn’t work. Get a life bro.

I think you go under center but qb keep there….he’s 250 lbs! Bring tight end in motion and crash the line, big cinco keeps, Ship drives him home with the backside push.

DJ was the LAST player that should have been used as the 'power back' in a short-yardage situation.

Now it's a "Dabo called the wrong play" problem. Maybe learn some about football and you'll understand why these things are called and sometimes they don't work.

Phil Mafah run for 11 yds to the Lvile 7 for a 1ST down
1st & Goal at LOU 7
Phil Mafah run for 2 yds to the Lvile 5
Zone line blocking, 26 runs up the middle
2nd & Goal at LOU 5
D.J. Uiagalelei pass incomplete
*** Snap past DJ to his right, lucky bounce, DJ does a good job to throw it away and not take the loss
3rd & Goal at LOU 5
D.J. Uiagalelei pass complete to Davis Allen for 4 yds to the Lvile 1, DJ pass too far in front of Allen to get the TD. good ctach by Allen to extend and make the catch.
*** spot should have been inside the one based on where the ball was when Allen caught it, ball spotted at 1.5 yard line.
4th & Goal at LOU 1
Phil Mafah run for no gain to the Lvile 1
*** left guard 71 loses leverage, Mafah cuts inside. Lvile stops at 1/2 yard line.
