Where Clemson ranks in average punting yards over the years:
24 - 99th (Swanson) [Last in ACC]

Combine that with some kicking woes this year, and I'm wondering why the pitchfork carriers haven't said anything about Mike Reed, special teams coordinator.

Maybe because it's expected?

Guess he was a late bloomer.

We need another Dale Hatcher, the only punter besides Ray Guy to hit the top of the Superdome. But I still remember the game against Maryland in '82 when he punted into the wind and it only netted 4 yards.

Dabo just doesn't prioritize special teams

Dabo puts very little effort into blocking kicks and returning kicks.

Great teams have great special teams. That's one reason we're not great.

We definitely need a punter. I was thinking that last night. It is hard to flip the field without one. Too many times, we've been penned deep by great kickers, but we seldom get that luxury.

Why would anyone blame Reed? Hes given squat to work with at punter. It’s just a tag on duty that has no emphasis from the head man.
