..Clemson will no doubt open it's own pocketbook with contract mods to keep him happy right where he is.

The only problem I see with the SEC route is the ethics conflict. The whole conference has sold it's soul (ok, maybe not the whole conf. But most.) I don't think he wants to associate with coaches that "roster manage" kids out the door or pretend to not know about pending criminal charges for transfers.
