Watson is playing for UGA today if Morris isn't the OC.

I do not want to fire Morri in no way shape or form.....he has been a main ingredient in our recent success.....with that being said, I strongly disagree with our short yardage situations....it clearly isn't working and I expected him to make the corrections by now.

I'm not saying firing the guy, I'm simply questioning some of the calls in short yardage. I'm sure they see what we don't see in practice, but we see what they see in the game. 1 yard to go and you line it up 6yrds deep. I have an idea, do like every thousands of coaches would do in a similar situation and run a simple play under center. Don't be cute!

I agree he needs to adjust but it worked last year when we had Boyd. Also to an extent it worked last week against ncsu. However it's not working consistently this season. Maybe should try choice or maybe go to the pistol more.

He has control over 100% of the offense. Dabo takes that away and he walks, and probably takes our new 4* QB with him.

great relationship, but Deshawn isn't going to some rebuilding, smaller school. And BTW, you think maybe it's this kind of garbage as to why Morris doesn't have a head job yet? Stupidly, stubborn coaches are normally not good head coaches. Dabo needs to just say no to this BS, period! If what you say is true the tail is wagging the dog.

to bolt because Morris leaves looking 2-4 years out, so what? You really expect Morris to be OC here in 2017 when he'd play? I think Chad is out the door this off season for a head job somewhere, probably SMU. But he'll take whatever is offered. He knows he'll have to go the Mahlzahn route, take a pay cut, and get started as a HC

He will not sit out a season to transfer. Chad leaves? No loss there. With what we pay him, we could have our pick of replacements.

He'd have to tell me that himself for me to believe it. He's been talking about Watson being perfect for this system for two years.

We could. He can run and pass. He would be awesome in a pro set offense.

4th & and inch. And you are in the shot gun. Football 101...get behind the hogs...
3rd down and 11 seconds and your senior QB runs the ball. Throw it away. Take the FG. Coaching!!!
All coaching mistakes!!

a talk with him, and explain that we must have a touchdown when it is 1st and goal from the one-inch line, that he is in charge of the offense and was supposed to have that fixed by now, and not getting it fixed is not acceptable, and he will in some way be held accountable if it is not fixed.

Dabo isn't acountable. Dabo has an ironclad contract. He's gonna make his money regardless.
Let's hope Dabo is smart. But don't rely on accountability, cause it ain't there.

that must be why stoudt was the starter in first couple of games. Dabo is more about loyalty than accountability. He is more about giving someone a chance even it hurts the team. He kept other OC's and DC's too long because of loyalty.

Agree, they have to see that their current short yardage game plan isn't working. You'd think they would have a different scheme 8 weeks into the season.

All his misdirection blows up in short yardage. Dont try to run 15 yards to go 2 ft.

You have a strange way of interpreting what is posted here. I'm sure there are some coot scoks posting ridiculous stuff on here because they are bored and have no where to go after their loss last week. But aside from that I think there are a number of folks confounded by the fact that The Chad is so stubborn that he just won't change his ways because of his pride.

It's well known that Watson was not actually recruited because he was a dual threat QB. He is only supposed to sit in the pocket and throw the ball like Dan Marino. SMH you guys just don't know football.
