Regarding the post from Sunday about Cade Klubnik and the wreck, I feel compelled to comment. I understand fans visiting opposing message boards and wanting to trash-talk and support their team. It’s part of why we love our teams and the sport. But posts like the ones from Sunday have gotten worse over the years because idiots feel like they can say whatever they want and hide anonymously behind a keyboard.
Someone who knows Cade’s parents called them as soon as that post popped up, and conveyed it as “a report on TigerNet” that Cade was involved in a serious accident. Well, it’s football season, and Cade did not immediately pick up or return their calls. I can only imagine his phone was in a locker somewhere, a distraction he doesn’t need with LSU so close. Until he called them back, you can imagine the thoughts that were running through their minds. Without going into a lot of detail, they are hurt and they are angry. A mother doesn’t need that. Not over a football game. It wasn’t funny. It wasn’t creative. It was cruel.
But not all of these keyboard warriors are as smart as they think they are. They create a username, might use a throwaway email, but they leave breadcrumbs. The cloud doesn’t lie. I’ve done my research on this because there are people who want to know who this was. So let me say this – I know who you are, PJ. There are now others that know who you are. I know you are a big LSU fan. Heck, PJ, I even know where you work. You’re not as anonymous as you think.
If you were a man, you would come back on and apologize. I don’t expect you will, because cowards act a certain way all the time.

TrooperDel was on Scout and I am proud to say I had a direct hand in ensuring he was perma-banned from all Scout sites. All I had to do was show a friend who was an IT exec there his content and poof gone!

David people who do things like that, they do it bc of the money that a college QB makes while in college to insure their future, they can afford to pay cash for a really nice house in a really nice Neiborhood, and their mothers are still turning tricks at 55 years old to pay the rent for a two room low level apartment!!!

I see the pain that such "fake news" posts can do....but I also worry about publicly outing folks names, work places etc with the that potential for bad things to happen. Many years ago, I had to implement a a new state law that angered many...As a public official, my identity was known. I had death threats at my home phone number,had an armed escort for several months. My wife received some threats.
Decades later, we have not forgotten those months...too many nuts not to take very seriously
