We need Bama and ND to win so we can play ND. If Bama loses to UGA we move to #1 and like last year they will put Bama in even though they don't deserve it at 4th and we will have to play them in a prelim game. If theyre in it I want them in finals.

ND for playoff purposes only

The only reason to pull for Syracuse at this point is in case we lose a game.

I'm thinking Notre Dame. A Notre Dame loss opens the door for either Georgia or Oklahoma to get in, providing they both win out.

Syracuse all the way. I wish Notre Shame would lose every game they play. Notre Shame’s Fate has nothing to do with Clemson’s. To me, if really doesn’t matter who Clemson plays if they make it to the playoffs. If they can’t beat the team in front of them, Clemson isn’t the best team anyway, so what does it matter? Go Syracuse!

I’m pulling for Cuse just so maybe Washington State can get in with ND, UGA and Oklahoma all losing and Wazzu winning the PAC 14 or so.

It doesn't matter who you pull for.
You have no influence on the game.

I ain't scared of anyone. Nobody is easier than anyone else in the playoffs. I don't like ND and hope they lose.

just further enhances the argument by the e$ECpn talking heads to include two teams from the $EC in the CFP.

Until all teams play

The same number of games to reach the CFP, I'm pulling against anyone who didn't. There aren't enough true 'data points' for the selection committee to use, but at a minimum, the number of games is. 'Eye test' is subjective...even within a conference, since not everyone plays the same schedule. Don't spout conference championships matter, then select a team that didn't even play for one. In short, don't set KPI's that you weight differently solely to support your selections...it may sound good, but waffling is just that...waffling.
Go 'Cuse!

I, too, definitely want to avoid two SEC teams in the playoff. Not that I wouldn't love it if we beat both UGA and Bama to win it all! But I am so tired of coot fans in the office talking about "WE" have 2 teams in the playoff.....despite my constant reminder "...but THEY are not YOUR team!!!" So that part of me says pull for ND. But a win by Syracuse does help our SOS and SOR (which I understand is only perception at this point and doesn't affect us making the CFP or not).
I'm torn....its like deciding who to cheer for in the Orange & White spring game.

block a 2nd SEC team from making playoff assuming Mich or Oklahoma win their conferences with only one loss so I guess I'd like to see ND win today but won't lose any sleep if they lose.
