start an "ACC...ACC...ACC...ACC..." chant around the stadium. The comeuppance for so many from ESPN, to the elitist of the SEC fan base, to the rest of the media...man, that would be so sweet!

Just... No. The acc didn't put is there, Clemson got there all on their own. If you want to chant, chant "Clemson - tigers" or "Dabo Dabo Dabo" or something along those lines. No need to chant for the conference.

we "rush the field" after games. I doubt anyone would get the intended sarcasm to an ACC chant except us and if the chant is meant to be serious, then it would just be embarassing, so no. No chant.

I've thought this over, and I am in agreement with you, and the vocal majority of replies - no ACC chant. Instead, Tiger Rag with C-L-E-M-S-O-N is the one I want to hear. Not only OFTEN DURING the game, but CONSTANTLY DURING the TROPHY PRESENTATION TO OUR TIGERS!!!!!

Actually, I have little respect for the average Bama fan. I know several who are classy and never wave the SEC flag but they are not the average Bama fan.
In honor of the Bama fans who have no link to Bama other than sharing a conference with them I recommend we chant SEC, SEC, SEC to goad them back into the woodwork.

There is nothing wrong with yelling ACC or conference pride.
Georgia Tech did it after beating Kentucky.
I'm not here to defend Swofford he made mistakes, but if you remember 5 years ago when the ACC was in jeopardy of being left out of the playoffs. The ACC made sure that didn't happen. The ACC had a place at the table.
If Clemson loses an ACC game a few years ago they get left out of the playoffs. The collective improvement of the league has benefited Clemson with a future ACC Network, better bowl deals, better competition and SOS.
I don't want coattail riding, Clemson's championship is their own as was FSU's, but a little conference pride is fine.
