But I would love it if Clemson got out of the ACC and stepped down to a smaller conference. I want college sports to be about the college again. I want actual student athletes. I want to go to a game and not have to deal with Slade Pinkleton, Sr., or Jr. I know the ship(ly) has probably sailed... but I miss those days.

I had English class with a football player... he was a student, just like me. Why would I want to cheer for a school I did not go to.
I cheer for Clemson... and hope the Gamecocks lose.

I would rather be relevant in true college football than be in a pro league that essentially licenses collegiate branding.
