Is the reason we NEED to get out of the conference. Maryland and VTech have both proven we would likely steam roll in the Big 10, but I doubt they would offer. If Texas and the Big XII are still interested, we might should jump ship and see if we can take anyone with us. I would venture a guess that FSU and NCSU (I live in NC and the State fans are not fans of Swofford or his UNC BS) would readily jump with us, especially since the dynamics of the conference have changed with the new information about UNC and it could be argued that it nullifies the 50 mail buy out. I would also think Louisville and VTech could be convinced to leave.

I know I posted this a couple of weeks ago and got flamed for it, but I really think it is time to leave. The biases are piling up.

I really think Venables and Morris would be phenomenal in the Big XII because of their familiarity to the area and high schools/high school coaches.

We could just beat the living tar out of the most overrated teams in all of college football. I think we partially proved that last year beating tOSU, who went unscathed in regulation and lost to MSU by a very similar margin to us. Walt is correct in the path of least resistance is the way to go, especially moving to a worse conference perceived as a better conference. And wasn't the rumor Clemson and VTech?

Going to the big XII would be stupid. Too far for most games, and UT owns that conference.

Big 10 would be better, but I think our recruiting would take a hit because our hot beds are GA and FL. Those players don't want to play half their games that far from home and in that weather.

We are never getting anywhere in this conference unless we go undefeated and Ron Cherry will do his best to prevent that.
