Could Kelly Bryant possibly play WR?

I believe it will be hard to keep this kind of athlete off the field. He has the size and speed to play WR and I know they have used him a lot on trick plays in the receiving game at Wren this year. He will have to sit behind Watson at least two years, assuming he wins the back-up role. Imagine running the triple reverse with he, Watson, and Cain! Never know, this kid could be the next Ryan Tannehill.

Kelly Bryant will play QB. He is a freakish athlete and has a very high ceiling at QB. Dabo and staff are really starting to reload talent around here

quarterback Bryant is (at least he is in my opinion). Every HS QB that is a good athlete doesn't need to be converted to, or even considered for WR or some other position. In my eyes, Kelly is a QB all the way, and his athleticism will be best utilized as such.

Sounds like Bryant could be #2 QB by end of fall camp.

He's having an outstanding season and improving as a passer, not just dual-threat.

There are a lot of QBs out there that have seen time at WR early then assumed their role as QB later in their career. Look at TCU's Boykin. I know he has played a little WR. What about Chansi Stuckey? If he is a stud WR we have a talented QB in the 2016 class already committed as well. I say put the talent on the field.

People want to push him into a WR role because he's big and athletic. They obviously haven't seen him throw, because this kid can downright spin it.

Good point about Tannehill, but...

Tannehill was a 3rd stringer when he played WR. I don't think you want to send the guy you expect to be the starter or who you expect to fill in for an injured starter to another position. Only way I can see that happening is if Bryant is beaten out by Israel or Zerrick Cooper at some point.

We need to keep some athletes AT QB....

Just because he's big and quick on his feet doesn't mean he needs to play another position. We aren't a pocket passing team. With zone read, we NEED an athlete at QB that can evade tacklers and make people miss on the second level.
Keep him at QB, otherwise, we will be thin there as far as talent goes and risk having a very mediocre season if Watson goes down.

He is going to be a great QB! Will really benefit from having a few years to learn the system.
