2020 signees Parks - Capehart - T.Williams - - - why dont they all get 6th year

We’d learned quite a while back that OG Walker Parks was eligible for a 6th year, which he (Parks) indicated being eager to utilize.

Parks was a signee of the 2020 class. He had a RS year and a COVID year as the basis for being eligible for a sixth year (2025).

Capehart and Tre Williams were also part of the 2020 class. Both of them RS’d and both had a COVID year, same as Parks. Yet, I have missed any reports (were there any?) that Capehart and / or T.Williams eligible -or- interested in utilizing a 6th season to play for us in 2025?

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Parks has his Medical RS from last year he is applying for and others do not have Med RS.

But you have to think the injuries this year have derailed any hope of being a high pick. I've always thought Williams will play another year of college ball, hopefully here. Hopefully both here. I do expect Cape to go through the evaluation process though

incorrect - both have RS a year and both get a bonus year from Covid on top

of a RS(doesn't have to be anything medical). Everybody that came in 2020 gets 5 full seasons if they want them. Latest on Capehart........

Williams gets another year also. I don't know if either will choose to, but wouldn't surprise me if atleast 1 does

This is incorrect.

Every player on a roster in 2020 gets 5 years to compete in 4 full seasons not including 2020. (or 6 years if including 2020). Capehart and Williams have all played 4 full seasons. Unless they get a med exemption they are done (They may have already gotten one). Parks and Howard still have one year due to Redshirting one year.
