that it is totally impossible for them to ever win their conference and get into a college playoff that would determine a national championship. So, never a conference title or national title for them. How would you feel that the best you are playing for each year is to get to 6-6 and get into a bowl game. These 6 wins would always include 4 patsies including Vandy. That would be sad for me and I don’t know that I could keep showing up listening to sand storm waving my towels losing.

Historical averages say this is a tall order for SCAR.

Those 3 11 win seasons under Spurrier in early 2010s are a statistical outlier.

I hate them as much as they deserve, but kind of a dumb post. They showed more than once in the past they could get pretty good...in 1984 were ranked No. 2 in the country. Kind of like 1000 monkeys typing on keyboards for 1000 years will type something meaningful. It could happen, but odds are against them.
