Actually, if you look closely, he's got more than 5 stars, but they couldn't count that high.

You guys who like to poke fun had better remember that what goes around comes around. Four years ago, we had just lost 5 in a row to Carolina. You don't know that it won't happen again during your lifetime. Try and stay constructive.

Last week the coots were going 110% for improving their image. Quite a few felt a new brand was needed, even replacing their mascot according to some. A lot felt they had no recourse but to improve.
The comment about the stars is kinda funny. Even some Scar fans think all Boom needs is a 2 or three star, and he'll "coach 'em up" to be a 5*. First thing is they got to recruit and sign a lot more decent athletes before that will happen.
Like one Gamecock supporter said about Wednesday signing day: "We're gonna lose four more years" because we signed 4 of the 10 top athletes.

This is assuming the logic that IF the Gamecocks in the future once again beat us 5 in a row, that if we go easy on them now they would do the same. I remember how EASY they were on us during that run. No matter what we do or say now, if such a day does come, us laying off now will have 0 effect then.

I have been a tiger all my life(grew up a couple miles from a Clemson). I always felt sorry the coots and took it easy on them. Then they had that short run of success and all of a sudden they were making my life heck! People that I had known for a long period and had never even mentioned they were gamecocks were all of a sudden talking smack about THEIR team and THEIR conference and THEIR tough schedule and how THEY had so much more money coming in and THEY had a so much better coach and how we would never catch up. What I learned from this is give out the smack while you can because they won't hesitate to give you some if THEY get the chance!
