Coots have lost touch with reality

Overheard office coot talking to another ( I’m assuming) coot on the phone this morning. They have already chalked Missouri and Vandy up as wins, and he said “if we can get past Florida and then split Clemson and Tennessee we could be talking New Year’s six bowl”
These guys are so far detached from reality it’s actually sad. Truth is if Kentucky and A&M would’ve had their starting quarterbacks, SCAR would be 3-4 right now headed for losing season.
I’m not convinced they beat Missouri,. They will beat Vandy, possibly Florida but will definitely get blown to pieces by Tennessee and Clemson. Enjoy another mayonnaise bath, Beamer!

Florida is a very loseable game for South Carolina. South Carolina can’t score, they have to count on the other teams quarterback being out and getting lucky turnovers to win games

A&M was smoking weed in the locker room BEFORE the game. LOL
So if the opponent is sober, that’s also bad for the coots.

Please note Beamer has the Coots rolling. Most likely win out accordingly to most Coot fans I know (and that number is large). They expecting to beat both TN and CU this year. Now, reality is they are gonna lose to TN, CU and FL. May not beat MO or Vandy.

SC's offense is awful. Mizzou can play defense. An SC win tomorrow is far from certain.

Similar to last year...

with Auburn and Florida, no one expected A&M to be so bad this year. The Kentucky game would have likely had a different outcome had the starting QB for UK been playing. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, and that has definitely been the case with uof7c the last two seasons.
That said, I have always projected the Mizzou and Vandy games as likely wins for them, but I still think they lose the orange trifecta to Florida, Tennessee and Clemson. In fairness, Florida will be a toss-up for them. Since the game is in Gainesville. I'm giving the Gators the edge, but it would not surprise me if the Capons win that one. Tennessee and Clemson are definite losses for them which would have the Dirt Pecking Work Pullers finishing the regular season with a record of 7-5 and a highly anticipated trip to some coveted destination like Birmingham, Shreveport, Memphis or Charlotte for the holidays.

They could lose all of those games or win 3...

in reality, they are for certain favored against Missouri and Vandy and will have a good chance of beating Florida. I think the Gators should be a 7 pt favorite but we will see. They are longshots against the Vols and us for certain but they will get UT at home and if they Vols are somehow still unbeaten...that pressure will mount and a possible night game at W-B is no gimmie.
Gotta give Beamer credit too, they are finding other ways to win game than just good offense and defense.
I think they screw up and lose to either Missouri or Vandy and then pull an upset against UT, UK or us. They finish the season 2-3 and 7-5 overall.

This year's Tennessee team, in no fashion, beats Alabama and Georgia, then loses to USuC. Unless they're down seven starters going into that game or some such.

I think when they crash and burn this time it will be a much harder fall than when Spurrier bailed on them. Spurrier was fortunate. The state of SC produced more talented recruits than normal. Guys like Sidney Rice, Marcus Lattimore and others. Conner Shaw a 3 star recruit from Ga. turned out to be underrated. He played well. Coot’s also landed some good RB’s, WR’s and had an above average defense. It was the perfect storm. During those 11 win seasons most of the coots SEC and ACC opponents were having their own struggles. Coot’s played weak FBS opponents. The coots were really playing at a higher level than they believed. Once they realized they had wondered into to the Twlight Zone and were winning game’s, reality started to sink in which helped the coots to right the ship bringing it back to earth. Spurrier realizing the future ahead for the coots realizing he had peaked, bailed out leaving the coots to crash and burn while Ray Tanner went HC begging! Please take this job!!! ?
Then Will Muschump came in to sale ice to Eskimo’s. Under WM Clemson hung some big loses on the coots. Then Batman Bentley who skipped HS straight into college football had a pretty good season leading SC to some decent wins.
Then came the “Never Again Game” where Clemson Won 56-7 in 2016. Since that game the Tigers ran off 6!consecutive wins. Jake Bentley said the coots were as talented as Clemson even though the coots lost 56-7. And sometime around the time Per Todd Ellis , he confirmed the obvious Dabo was afraid of WM, Clemson was Cycling out While the coots were cycling in! ???????
During the last 6 years we have added 2 more National Championship’s, 6 plus years of 10 or more wins each season and we have reeled off 7 consecutive W’s going back a year from the the coots “Never Again Game” More teams should start cycling out!
While Cycling Out Dabo with so much success, Cycled into a muti year, muti million dollar contract extension.
And Todd you have to love it that during your cycling in period for the coots they fired Dabo’s nemesis Muschamp who caused Dabo great fear. Meanwhile WM may be getting paid by FU and SC while in his current job as a Co-DC for a UGA who beat the stuffing out of that #### rooster that crows every game.
IMO, This time when the coots crash and burn it may be the Big back breaker. Especially since they have pined their hopes and dreams on Beamer Ball! The coots could easily be 2-4. If Ga State’s QB had played as well as he has in recent games they could have put an L on the coots. Then the coots played an injured Kentucky team and an injured Jimbo Fisher coached A&M team. You never know how the ball will bounce. You could lose all of your last scheduled games. SC in a New Year’s Six BG. Not likely. But It could happen! It’s a crazy world in College Football these days.
I hope this post along with all of the other great post will help ease your pain coot fan’s as reality brings you back to earth where close loses become moral victories again.

Our fans are definitely flying high right now. I think it’s a mirage but I’m definitely in the minority.
It will be interesting to see how the fans react if we do get to 7-2 then lose by 20+ the final three games of the season.

The SEC Least is not even as good as the ACC or the Big 10 and then you played Georgia State, Charlotte and South Carolina State. You should have a good record against that level of competition. Take Georgia out of the SEC Least and it’s barely a power 5 conference. But, really the SEC brags, but it’s little more than Bama and Georgia and an occasional LSU.

You've lost touch with reality if you don't think Tennessee or UGA aren't equivalent to Clemson and above every one else in the ACC.

You’re right on Kentucky, but wrong on Texas A$M. Aggy did have their starting QB, he just sucks. Honestly, last week I was pulling for the Coots. It was your coots vs my coots and in this case, your coots are my preference. Aggy and Dumbo Fisher are repulsive people
