My HS team did this same drill 50 yrs ago under Coach Fisher Deberry. He called it "The Pit". I tackled a guy with my butt one time & he got so excited I thought he would pop a vessel. Obvious literary faux pas notwithstanding I don't get the excitement over it particularly compared to "The Paw Drill" which is total mayhem. I guess it's all they got

Are some of the #### drills bigger than others? If so, does it matter?
Do they have black #### drills and garnet #### drills?

My high school line coach called such doings a "P*t*r Pull" Used the term when we were lazy and stunk up the place.
