Who would it be?
Mine:
1. Garret Riley (not fooled by yesterdays performance — should’ve seen that the past 3 years)
2. Mike Reed (got too lazy after working with top tier, elite talent — also… special teams cord.???)
3. Mickey Conn (I don’t know why he’s even allowed to step foot on a D1 college field tbh)
What say you?

We really have to start here! Safety play was terrible last year too outside of Mickens..safeties were terrible against the run (check out Ryan Kantor’s PFF summary on Safeties to cap the year last year)

I honestly agree with this 100 percent, which is tough because I’m the type of person who wants to see more NFL X’s and O’s guys. And both Rumph and Eason were.

Also would get rid of PAW journey, accountability points and hire scouts instead of analysts in excess

Your issue w/ Reed and Mcdaniel? Mcdaniel has been in his role less than a year if I’m not mistaken! IMO he should be moved to safeties -elite at his position. Reed may not be having his career BEST but he is a great coach. Keep Reed! Keep McDaniel!

And I dont like that. He is a D1 football coach at a power 4 school. That alone is a full time job, and then you throw a multi location business on top of it? He may need to make a decision soon.

I agree that Garrett Riley needs to go. He's had the time and the performance is not there, especially against better defensive teams.
Tom Allen - I've heard that Tom Allen hasn't forgotten how to coach and that the talent doesn't suit his defense. Well, Peter Woods and Sammy Brown didn't forget how to play either. You put your players in a position to succeed. As for the talent, it's going way down next year barring something unforeseen. We had 3 players projected 1st round before the season started. I'm not sure where they fall after a year in a Tom Allen defense. Ok, I get that he wants more team speed. BV changed from a 4-3 to a 3-4 one year because it suited the talent better. If Allen wants more team speed, then tell him to find another team.
For the third it's a tough pick if I am limited to 3. Conn, Rumph, and Eason should have a hot seat. I've said that Grisham should go a lot in the past, but the WR's have been a consistent bright spot this year.
For #3, why don't we just remind Allen and Riley that they are fired and let the new coordinators pick their 3 to fire.

Grishams recruiting and the results on the field have spared him for now. Im fine with him staying at receivers coach.
