Any academic accolades they have earned should be retracted, or at least questioned, after their 18 year institutional academic fraud (followed by lying to cover it up). Honestly, they should lose their accreditation given how horrible that entire situation was.

It doesnt work in this case. Way too stacked. You have FSU, Miami, Clemson, and GT all in the same division.
Meanwhile, the only relatively strong teams in the other division are Louisville and VT, and VT hasn't been anything special lately

Duke has more of a northern-lean to its student body than Wake Forest does, in my opinion.
I don't care how stacked it is today...these things ebb and flow. I'd rather have the geographic rivalries. And it's more exciting to have GT, FSU and Miami coming into Death Valley consistently. Northern schools will just have to get better.

I would like to see Northern and Southern divisions. The Northern would be basically former Big East teams. It would consist of VT, BC, Sy, Pit, LV and the addition of VA and NCS. The Southern would basically be the old ACC. CU, FSU, WF, NC, DU, GT and MIA.

The SEC trims back to 12. Arkansas joins the Big 12 with WVa moving to the ACC. SCar would be the other SEC team to move, to the ACC. Boston College and Wake Forest would each move to the AAC.

With Clemson-VTech/FSU-ND-L'ville in separate divisions the football champ should have a clear path to the FBC semis each year.
Clemson-NC-GTech-UVa. is a heckuva baseball division, as is Miami-FSU-L'ville.
Hoops ... meh, who cares? We're a baseball power again!
Travel costs for us are slashed and the rotation would keep fresh games in our schedule. The only downside would be missing every other year in Tally.
