the plays he's added throwing into triple coverage are hard to grasp. I say we simplify things.

I think Morris gets in his own way and tries to show off

Yes The Chad, we get it, you can think of plays and formations no other OC can think of. But you should've stopped before calling the play to have Boyd run in the wrong direction, get hit and fumble so our RB could scoop up the ball and run it in.
I've never been a football coach in my life, but even I could've told him there's a possibility that a defender could end up with it instead of us.
Is it a play the defense would have never seen coming? Yes, absolutely. But there's too much risk to call that play in that situation. Save that stuff for when we're up by 60 over Maryland. I mean, we will be up 60 over Maryland right? RIGHT?

I don't know the answer to your question, but if we have some offensive linemen we're not using, we sure need to take a look at 'em.............:~)

Commentator said on one play that Mike Williams didn't

Read the defense correctly and as a result ran the wrong way on the route. I know absolutely nothing about coaching offense. Would a receiver change routes because of the coverage? This was on a pass that clearly Mike and Tajh were not on the same page.
I give great credit to the FSU secondary. That will be the best secondary we face all year.

Yes. There are tons of routes where the receiver either

has an option or has to change the route slightly based on the coverage. If you need to see an example of this go find that 1st or 2nd Patriots game where Tom Brady was throwing a bunch of WRs that nobody had ever of. Brady was throwing balls 5-10 yards away from WRs and we all know those weren't on him. The WRs weren't reading the coverage and running the routes correctly.

most pass plays have 2 or 3 options for the receiver.he can go long, cut to the sideline or across the middle of the field.. this is not easy as the Q/B must sometimes throw BEFORE the receiver makes his cut.. to show how hard this is Peyton Manning and an all-pro receiver did not read the route the same way 2 times last night!!n ow I know that some plays have a specific route but not all

It took him this long to figure that out, he's to obsessed with running a 100 plays instead of executing the ones he does run, while exhausting the defense when the struggles appear, not to smart, that up tempo works against lesser competition but not a team like Fsu, especially when we are struggling to start with, no wonder they scored 51 points, they would have beat us anyway, but not 51 points.

teams. When your offense isn't clicking, it cascades onto your defense, wearing them out and in turn, you get spanked.
We have to find a running game other than Boyd.
