A top 5 QB (most have DW as 1 or 2) and arguable the best WR corps in the country. At least top 3, how can we not even get a mention?

I remember 2013 when Tajh appeared on ESPN the week before FSU wearing a t shirt with roses on it. Looking back we were done then.
We have to beat FSU to get in the acc convo.

Based on this and many, many other media outlets lack of belief in this team, are we really just looking through orange glasses to think we are going to be great? I mean, my goodness, we are nothing as far as eSECpn is concerned, makes me concerned about our season. One more thing...why all the love for VT. This is the same team that fought powerhouse WF to a 0-0 tie in regulation. Their QB, Brewer, is awful and they think Bud Foster is the greatest defensive mind in all of football....I just don't get it!

If our O-Lines and D-Lines end up being Charmin' soft this year as they were in 2011, and there are some injuries to key players later in season, then I wouldn't expect us to do great. Though, even with these issues in 2011, we went 9-3 in regular season and still won the ACC.
Also, I wonder if those media outlets think that the co-offensive coordinators won't work out well.
In other words, with Chad Morris gone, according to them, replicating the success of the last several years will be difficult due to lack of continuity within the offensive side of the ball.
However, both Tony Elliot and Jeff Scott studied under Chad Morris, so I don't see why they wouldn't work out well. They called a great game in the Russel Athletic Bowl.
