College FB Has Evolved To QB Being Key To Offense

The really successful NFL teams have always been the teams built around a star QB who can be a dominate factor. The names of such star QB's and the teams who have gone on to win the Superbowl are pretty much synominous, especially in the modern era.

I think we are now seeing the same in college FB. The teams who have a dominate QB who can pass and run like Bridgewater, Cam Newton,Manziel,Michael Vick,Connor Shaw,the current FSU QB, Tim Tebow etc. are going to be playing for the NC. I hope in the near future Clemson can find one.

I still believe championships are won in the trenches (on both sides of the ball) regardless of the style QB you have. A QB that makes good decisions and does not panic never hurts. Looking at recent history these teams all had dominate OL's and DL's.
