team playoff and name image likeness is going to change college football. No it's not! Because Alabama cares more. They have a better system. The teams that are going to flourish over the next 10- years - Alabama, Clemson cause Dabo will stay in it, Oklahoma, Ohio State, another SEC team like Florida with Dan Mullen, Notre Dame with Brian Kelly, Oregon already is really good and one other West Coast Team. This is not going to change anything. No. We're not going to suddenly have Coastal Carolina as a wrecking ball in college football."

15-20 years we very well might go on a 20-25year playoff streak...I think it'd be cool to have a playoff game in the valley, could you imagine?

He got my respect when Clemson proved we weren't a fraud, and he ate a huge plate of crow on his show. He learned his lesson and is now a believer in Dabo.

He is dead wrong on this. You can't change the rules this much and not impact the game as we have known it. I'm not sure it will be the demise of college football, but it will change it. In addition to the unofficial G-5 and non G5, I predict a super G-5 and conference realignment.

If nothing else, there will be unanticipated consequences.
