You can have freedom of speech. There is no such thing as freedom of consequence. Looks like he got what was coming to him. He likely won't get a teaching job.

Code of Conduct policies should be established and enforced equitably

For this event and in the future.
It’s kind of the reason Code of Conduct policies are developed in the first place. Most will stipulate that violations can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
As they say, it ain’t the first rodeo and won’t be the last.

Trump got his wrist slapped.
The laws only exist for one sect of the people now in the USA, and that’s the non - wealthy.
So what stance is Baylor taking outside of theatric performance here for the right?
I am aware that TNET has become a MAGA hive - mind think tank so bring on the downvotes.
Facts and logic don’t have any place here with politics or sports, apparently.

You compared "spewing derogatory words" to murder. You are the problem.

to boil it down you're saying this murder was justified.

really think this through. As a nation we'll have to continually deal with these type of problems until your side takes a hard look at your own internal thoughts. But I understand the disconnect. When your teachers and mentors fill your heads with this nonsense its tough to crack that hardened heart.

Baylor had kicked them out of their program. It just says he doesn't represent us. Or maybe I missed it.

He's a student at Baylor. He was an intern at a middle school. The middle school told Baylor he was no longer welcome there, but he's still a student at Baylor.
Can you expel a student for a comment like that? It's much different than firing an employee.

Pretty sure students have been thrown out of schools for their online posts before, not that im necessarily saying they should. But one would think if they are gonna get rid of enrollees, coming out in favor of political assassinations would certainly seem to meet the criteria.

And now social media content content can prevent a student, work or any type visa from being issued. All these key board warriors can keep the hate flowing and they'll reap what they sow.

To take a slight tangent, I find it quite disconcerting the amount of educators that are caught up in this wave of dismissals in the last 24 hours or so
It's perfectly ok to disagree with a man, but to gleefully react to him getting literally gunned down and to have any role in educating the children of this country is simply a no-go.
(And for all the trolls on here who have your whataboutism statements ready to go, I don't want to hear it)
