Coastal opponent for ACCCG

Only 3 teams have a chance to make the ACCCG to play CLEMSON, and all 3 control their own destiny. Any of them that win their remaining conference games will win the Coastal.
VaTech 3-2 must win GT, Pitt, and UVA
UVA 6-2 only needs to beat VaTech
Pitt 3-2 must win UNC, VaTech and BC
All other Coastal teams have at least 3 conference losses, so they are out.
I guess there is a possible situation where VaTech beats UVA and loses to Pitt that would allow one of them to not have to win out, but UVA would be eliminated in that scenario.

If Pitt and UVA both win out UVA has the head to head for the tiebreaker.

2015 North carolina
2016 Virginia Tech
2017 Miami
2018 Pitt
2019 Virginia?
That would be a different opponent for 7 years straight. The Atlantic has been represented by either FSU or Clemson.

I think that if VT beats UVA, and loses to Pitt, then Pitt would have to lose their other 2 games for VT to win the Coastal with one more loss.
I think UVA has the best chance to win it, with VT possibly. I don't expect Pitt to make it.

UVA would be new opponent, but I'd like to go against Foster's defense 1 more time. They bring tons of pressure and would give us a lot on 1 on 1's on the outside.

I’m pretty sure that if UVA and Pitt win out, UVA has the tie breaker. I don’t think Pitt controls their own destiny. I for one like oddities in sports and would love for UVA to win so the Coastal would have 7 champions in 7 years.

Pitt beats VT and BC, but loses to UNC...5-3
UNC beats Pitt & NCSU...5-3
VT loses to Pitt, but beats UVA & GT...5-3
UVA loses to VT...5-3
Miami beats Duke...5-3
Five way tie...then records against each other..
In the above scenario...
Pitt would be 1-3
UNC would be 2-2
VT would be 3-1
UVA would be 2-2
Miami would be 2-2
VT gets it in that case....
But there are other scenarios that might be different.
I hope UVA does it...if so, they will be 9-3 and ranked by then.

Bring on Bryce Perkins and company. Bronco Mendenhall has done a good job at UVA. They need the exposure b/c it seems they have made a bigger commitment to football. Ironic b/c they have also been dominant in basketball recently as well.
