It would definitely exaggerate home field advantage, but I think moreso from a player travel perspective. Traveling across the entire country is no picnic, then coming all the way home, then potential right back out again.

From a fan perspective, home field is already almost entirely home fans, so I don't see that changing much. There are enough fans just about anywhere to fill a small away section.

I think Clemson fans have shown they will travel a long distance too. Back when we first played BC on the road in 2006 we took a huge crowd up there. If Clemson was playing a West Coast program like USC or Stanford, I think the novelty of it would be so interesting we'd probably take 10,000+ fans out there.
