Performance or financial?

As of right now on performance the soccer team won a national championship so it’s definitely 2 at worst. Football will always be a number 1 at Clemson in my mind. Women’s softball is very good and the golf team had the individual NCAA champion on it last year with one player currently ranked in the top 15 in the nation. I could be leaving out something because I rarely see anything regarding tennis so not sure what that program looks like.

Tennis is a mess. We lost to mid major Charlotte and barely beat coastal yesterday. Coots beat us 7-0 but they're possibly top 5 team. 3rd year coach so may take another year or two.

Men's Golf
Softball
Women's Golf - young team, young program
Baseball - tbd

Basketball, volleyball, rowing, m/W tennis - all need help.

I like your line up. Hate that for the tennis team. Seems that would be a sport Clemson would excel in recruiting wise. Seems to be a lot of tennis players in the south but figure recruiting tennis has become more international.

It seems like we should he good at rowing. All of those folks living up north where they enjoy the sport would love to come to warm Clemson, plus we have a bunch of water.

I think we had some good years back when the team was started.

8992 I’m with you on the rowing. Seems back in the day you would hear more about it. A friend of ours girl just graduated and had been part of the rowing team. If I am remembering correctly it seems Virginia is really good in the ACC. With the geography of the campus it seems like a no brainer at being a sport we would excel in.

Good thing is it sounds like with the new facilities, we're at least putting money into it and thinking about it.

Hopefully with all the upgrades, volleyball will start picking up too. New coach but I watched a lot of matches and even though the record didn't reflect it, we were a lot more competitive than we have been.

Ofcourse football drives the passion and money and is our favorite sport but if your asking from a success standpoint (this specific year) than it’s got to be soccer number 1.
We just won the National Championship.
