I'm going to say this then I'm going to go eat.

When we were beating everyone... people.....coaches... analyst....reporters.... undercover scouts...... etc....was all in Clemson's mix and seeing how Dabo does it.

The NIL and the transfer portals have been the best combination to move the needle in this country. Not saying I agree how its totally done but its definitely being done. Its kind of like eating and drinking a combination of things. It may taste good but it may not be good for your heart....kidneys...liver....etc....
Until some kind of regulation is put in place....things are going to taste good for awhile.....a good while until the first couple of severe signs of discomfort for the kids and the sport are on full display.

Right now its just Clemson and a few others that are feeling the discomforts of what is going on. It also doesn't help to have our misfortunes be self inflicted to a point where an intervention needs to be had.

I think its time for Dabo and the program's administration to send out his own feelers.... analyst.... undercover scouts to some of these other colleges to see how they do things and use that to find a way to create a balance that will help keep the beliefs of Dabo's philosophy satisfied as well as helping our program with recruiting....NIL... transfer portal players with also sprinkling in more proven and qualified coaches to put on this staff.

I don't think Dabo will ever embrace pay-to-play like many programs around the country are and I don't want him to.

Clemson wins in 2016, the portal was created 2 years later.

Then Clemson wins again that year and the process of creating the NIL started. I'm starting to see the connection.

You can’t have little schools like Clemson winning National Championships.

Paying players is the way to stop a school like Clemson.
