It’s garbage. Granted, the USC, Loyola of Chicago and the Louisville losses were bad, but head to head, Clemson beat Pitt in the only meeting and NC State twice including a demolition job in Raleigh.
There is no way Clemson should be rated below either of them.
Garbage in, garbage out re: the NET.

Well everyone has an opinion but it's actually a very complicated formula based on many metrics. We just played an easy ooc schedule and unfortunately we lost to bad teams. Good news is we still control our destiny.

You are right, and also wrong.
The head to head, sbsolutely right.
But, you cannot simply ignore losses to really bad teams because we won those games. We have more horrible losses than any other team I looked at.

Yes because the committee has a long history of favoring Clemson. Like that time they made us the highest ranked RPI team ever left out of the tournament.

I just think they look at our work against quad 1 and 2 teams and see that we are 3rd in the acc. I believe that is enough to get us in.

They have looked at our body of work when it was better than this (RPI 35 versus RPI 72) and left us out. Not sure why you think they’re gonna ignore the negatives this year. RPI too low, Too many quad 3/4 losses. Our NET ranking is firmly in the bubble zone. A loss in the first round of the ACCT will knock us out of the bubble. Seems like blind faith.

Yep. You beat a team that beat Michigan St and the propped up B10, but fall somehow. I thought someone here said it was a metric that used offensive and defensive efficiency as well, if that is true, something is not right. Hope the Tigers can play well in Greensboro.

Clemson has to start playing better opponents OOC.
Then, Clemson must avoid the horrible losses to really bad teams. (Multiple).
Had either of those been handled, we would not be begging or arguing about getting in. We would be discussing seeding.
