I do love UGA this year. Very talented roster. I like Clemson alot too. Cant wait to see what the D-line looks like.

Yeah, it's easy to call them losers and say it's a bunch of drivel but if you really take the orange tinted glasses off, they're actually spot on with what they say...
May not want to hear it, but it's true as of your sample pool. The big unknown is how much has Clemson developed up front. We missed on some talent in 2019 which is coming back to bite us as the 2020 cycle is A. Either not ready to play, or B. Loyalty to the older guys that stuck around.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with them on the linebackers. Spec and Skalski are all in, all heart and know the defense but they're not NFL talented and will get exposed. Same with our back-end guys - how much have they developed since January?
Where I disagree with them, is Big Cinco. I think he has the ceiling to be as good if not better than Trevor. They said Clemson is top 5 talent, so it's not like they're saying we're garbage.
Ga (as Leon Trotsky) listed on paper has an NFL roster. More guys from their roster will get drafted than the roster we listed. But, so did OSU in 2019. We'll know what we got in 5 days.

I agree with you Clemgal. We definitely have to prove ourselves after the last out. Let’s hope our coaching is superior and makes up for any talent gaps. Still, we have plenty of reason to be optimistic, just not unrealistic.

I agree. We might be underestimating DJ. Dude flashed in some really big ways last year. Has just as much arm talent as Trevor. Excited to see him play this year. Hope they can protect him

We didn't have the D line depth to play a 4-3 last year... I believe that's changed. Just makes the LBs' jobs much different.
Ross will bring an inspiration to the WRs and they're supposedly all healthy... 6'-4" QB throwing to 6'-4 & 6'-3" WRs everywhere.
DJ and that film room time... He's the 'quiet assassin'... "Yes sir."

Pointed out the obvious Clemson weaknesses.
Offense: O-line
Defense: LBs in coverage and running to the edge.

I agree with a lot of that…
Brockhorst snd Putnam are returning starters at the Guard positions and I think ability was their issue last season..I don’t think they are good football players…
McFadden is moving to LT because of depth and not having anyone else ready to play…

upgrade in respect. Not the worst break down but a lot of it sounds like hopeful thinking - You will not be playing Cincy and we will not be playing OSU. UGA COULD win but Clemson is favored for a reason. Fortunately, coaching will be a much bigger difference maker than Clemson's OL or LBs.
