Clemson not even in the top 50 baseball rankings 2022

When is the last time Clemson started the season not listed in top 25 but not even listed in the top 50? That is a giant fall for team that I would guess is a top 15 definitely top 20 team all-time.

I think DRad left Clemson because he knew he had some very difficult decisions coming up in the next year or so. If you recall he left GT right when they were needing to make decisions about Pawl and their BBall coach ( can't remember his name). Maybe DRad is good at raising money, good at building the upgrades needed for programs, but maybe he can't stand to fire coaches. He has 3 coaches on the hot seat with MBB, WBB and Baseball. I know he got a big pay increase but I think he knew he had his work cutout for him in the next 8mos.

According to Judge Keller’s logic…if we finish the season ranked #50 it will be a resounding success since it will be better than expected/predicted.

DRad left for more money and to prebuy his retirement home. I doubt it had anything to do with any of the coaches.

My guess in that Clemson is solidly inside the top 10 baseball programs all-time. Top 15 is probably a little bit of a stretch.

The only blemish is no CWS titles. Otherwise you're looking at a top 10 ranking.

DRad’s coaching decisions between GaTech and Clemson were almost exclusively terrible. We are very fortunate Dabo was already in place.
