split of football away from other sports. They will be part of that 48 or 64 team arrangement. Don’t waste a bunch of $$ to leave your conference when it is soon not to matter anyway. Stay in ACC for all other sports!

No shot my guy. If FSU leaves then we are out. You CANNOT and I mean CANNOT stay in this conference without our other power player. Clemson and FSU lead the way.

Staying in a conference waiting on what will eventually happen is not solid advice, and I would hope nobody in the board room at Clemson is stating that.

That may be 100% true, but he makes a valid point.

Clemson needs to be proactive in finding an exit from the ACC (I'm sure we are btw) and not wait around and hope for the best. Hope isn't a strategy, and the best business plans are never reactive ones.

John Swofford was reactive, and now the ACC has a bunch of Basketball pretending to care about football.

Make yourself as desireable as possible by winning. I don't give half a twit about FSU. Do the best thing for Clemson. It will be interesting to see if Football does split and the ACC has no one to blame but themselves. Why would FSU and Miami want to fly their womens volleyball team to the bay area (Stanford) in order to play volleyball in the middle of the week. This was the ACC's feeble attempt to get in the CA market.
