Clemson needs to continue its approach and only use

Portal for a very fee select needs. They will be one of the few left to grab very good HS players that are no longer being recruited by the “portal” schools. Keep developing the right way and we will be fine as that will become attractive to many parents over time. Dont cave just because everyone else gets desperate. DO THE RIGHT THING! I fully support Dabo.

I agree. After hearing Dabos comments yesterday I still think we should be very selective of portal use but not rule it out completely.

That also isn't true at all. We showed up to the portal party months late when everyone else already found a date. The SEC snatched up basically the entire top 15 recruits while when we didn't take it seriously until only 2-3 star 3rd string players were left.

No matter how good the other 70 or so are, being down 10-15 scholarship players is not a receipt for success.

Recruiting the portal will have to be treated with as much importance as HS recruiting to stay relevant on the biggest stage.

Can not agree that it "will be attractive to many parents over time"- first off many "parents" is
often a single (mother) living in poverty.
They may be tempted to sell to the highest bidder.
