(P.s. - my earlier poor souling post should be retitled "I'm a dumb***)

The Tigers edge out Florida State by 1 point to win their 1st ACC team title since 2004!

Individual/event titles: Cameron Rose - 200m, Tarees Rhoden - 400m, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay.

Tigers looked primed for a big jump after 1-2 finish in 400m, but disaster struck in 800m & 400m hurdles (our 2 800m finalists finished 7th & 8th after entering w/ 2 best times in ACC, while our 400m hurdler w/ best time coming in was DQed in final) & it did look doubtful. However, a 1-2 finish in 200m final set the stage for 4x400 relay to bring it home in the last event.

Any older folks know men's track was one of Clemson's better performing sports during the 80s thru 2000s, then seemed to fall off. Plus we know the story of almost being cut 2 years ago before the decision was reversed. Really glad to see that 2nd chance bear fruit today for all parties.
