Clemson is playoff bound this season!

Remember yesterday i wrote about Cade Klubnik being the best QB in the country. I strongly believe the piece of the puzzle holding Clemson back last year was DJ and Brandon Streeter vanilla offense. Now that we have Riley Garret our offense will be running like a fine tune machine that just had a shot of adrenaline. I strongly believe there isn’t a team in the regular season that can beat us. FSU come on I’m not convinced they’re back to powerhouse caliber. Norte dame we will see but that game is winnable. 12-1 will be the worst case scenario and Clemson will be playoff bound but honestly I could see 13-0 Clemson going to playoffs as a #1 seed. Simply put this offense will be explosive again and the defense being as good as they are. How will teams keep up with Clemson on the scoreboard. The answer is they can’t! Go Tigers

I hope you're right about the offense, but the defense is just as important if we want to run the table this year. Very seldom do both offense and defense become dominant.

Let’s not rush things I want to see them playoff bound and win a championship but like golf you have to take it one shot at a time. I saw the article awhile back one game at a time but take it one play at the time. Forget the last play on bad plays and go at it the next play This is the first time I have ever commented on anything I have been reading tigernet for years. Love the tigers

I definitely agree we have a great chance to return to the playoffs this year! We have a talented Offense & Defense, a great coaching staff (additions, as well as great returning staff), and we play both Norte Dame and Florida State in Death Valley!
However, as hopeful as I am regarding our prospects leading into the Playoffs (or the Bowl season), results could very easily be 13-0, 12-1, 11-2, or 10-3. I expect results closer to 13-0, but each season and game presents its own challenge (s).

I don't know if it's age or what l, but this enthusiasm now escapes me. However, in retrospect, the cast of behind the scenes people coupled with our new OC sees me believing Dabo is totally focused on getting the offense fixed and us returning to national prominence. I would've thought that the new OC would've been enough, but he brought back Scott, Chad and James Davis to boot. He is swinging for the fences this season.
The only conference hame that really concerns me right now is ND. FSU is certainly on my radar, but I think our chances are really very strong.

I can see where what you believe could easily happen. There are some unknowns going into the season with a new coordinator and scheme. Guys are all-in and I am excited also, lets go Tigers!!

Hope you're right and I have to admit I'm getting a warm fuzzy about the season. I try to be as objective as possible and keep the orange colored glasses off.
I'm seeing a lot of confidence out of CDS this year, confidence he didn't exude the last two seasons. With limited injuries I think we're in for a heck of a ride this year.
