CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Men’s Soccer (6-2-2, 3-0-1 ACC) hits the road to take on No. 10 NC State (8-1-2, 1-1-2 ACC) Friday night in a key ACC showdown at Dail Soccer Field that features two of the top offenses in the nation. The Tigers and Wolfpack kick off at 7 p.m. on the ACC Network and streaming on the ESPN app.
NC State enters averaging 2.64 goals per game, good for seventh nationally, while the Tigers are scoring 2.5 goals per game, the nation’s tenth-best mark. Donavan Phillip leads the nation with 14 goals in 11 games for the Wolfpack, while Ransford Gyan sits at fifth nationally in points with eight goals and seven assists.
The Tigers are coming off a dramatic 1-0 victory over Elon in which Lukas Magnason netted a goal off a Ransford Gyan corner kick with just nine seconds to play. The Phoenix had allowed just three goals in their ten games to that point.
The match is the 65th all-time meeting between the programs, with Clemson holding a 43-15-8 all-time mark. The teams last met in 2023, a 1-1 tie in Raleigh.
