St. Mary’s is a 4-seed

So, if the bracket seeding is anywhere near reality that makes St. Mary’s a top-16 team (or at LEAST top-20 with some momentum).
Are you telling me that St. Mary’s has better facilities, can afford to pay their basketball coach more, and plays in a league and against competition superior to what we play in the ACC?
I call BS on all of it. If Tennessee and Auburn can have a real basketball program, so can Clemson. Get us a real coach who can recruit and do something with the talent that comes in.

Retaining Brownell because one player seems to like him is the weakest, most limp-phallused reason to make a coaching decision. Was that player single-handedly good enough to get us farther as a basketball program than ST. MARY’S?? No he wasn’t, and no he isn’t. It’s time to get real and start over. Find a REAL coach. Offer the St. Mary’s coach or the Murray State coach, or the St. Bonnie’s coach. Do ANY of those schools have more money, better facilities, ANYTHING that should make them a better basketball program??????!!!???

Whose players? Ours? Other teams?

What is your point? Are having a competitive basketball program and players graduating mutually exclusive?

I'm at the point, as someone who has defended Brad Brownell, that I'm ok with him leaving if these posts can go away. He will be the coach next year, and unless/until Clemson administration figures out why basketball has been mediocre for 100 years, the next coach won't matter.
